- Description
The KPMG Fraud Survey Project began its life as an ARC Linkage Grant between KPMG Forensic, in collaboration with the University of Melbourne and the University of Queensland, examining the relations between within-firm fraud and corporate governance structures. In 2004, 2006 and 2008 approximately 400 surveys were collected from hundreds of Australian and New Zealand government agencies as well as private sector organisations, and used as a basis for the KPMG Fraud Survey Research Reports. In 2008 the project was renegotiated as a contract between the Department of Accounting and Business Information Systems at the University of Melbourne and KPMG.
